Squalane is an oil derived from 100% plant-based sources (such as olives, peanuts, rice bran, and sugarcane; in this formulation, the squalane comes from olive oil). It is known for its emollient and skin-softening properties and is also used to treat children's skin. Plant-based squalane is a substitute for animal-derived squalane oil. From a cosmetic standpoint, it shows high affinity with the epidermis and excellent permeability, making it ideal for preventing skin dryness. When included in formulations, it does not make them comedogenic—meaning it does not clog pores. This high permeability is a particularly important functional characteristic, as it enhances the delivery of water-soluble substances, essential oils, and dry extracts, thereby improving their dermo-cosmetic performance on the skin and visible imperfections.

Oryza sativa (rice bran) oil is a plant-based oil obtained from rice bran. Rich in oleic, linoleic, and palmitic acids and high in γ-oryzanol, it helps combat skin aging thanks to its antioxidant and anti-aging properties. Protective and emollient, it also offers good protection against UV rays. This light oil penetrates the skin quickly without leaving a greasy residue, thanks to the presence of oleic acid, which has a structure similar to that of the skin's natural sebum. The unsaponifiable fraction of rice bran oil is around 4% and provides a range of highly active and effective antioxidants, in addition to a lipid component composed of 60% to 90% omega-6 and omega-9 fatty acids. It works particularly well on mature skin by helping to rebuild the external protective barrier, restoring elasticity and softness. It prevents both skin aging and photoaging. Borago officinalis seed oil (borage seed oil) is cold-pressed from the seeds of the borage plant. Extremely rich in polyunsaturated Omega-6 fatty acids, such as alpha-linolenic acid (32–38%), linoleic acid (18–25%), and oleic acid (15–19%), this ingredient is successfully used for various skin issues, especially those caused by hormonal imbalances. It also contains significant amounts of important minerals, from calcium to potassium to tannins. All these compounds act as precursors to phospholipids, which make up cell membranes. In cosmetics, borage oil is a great ally because it helps combat skin aging and regenerates dry skin, while simultaneously fighting skin inflammation, eczema, acne, and psoriasis. Borage oil supports cell regeneration and improves skin elasticity. It is considered one of the most effective anti-wrinkle ingredients known today. Directions: apply the cream to the face and neck with gentle, circular movements from bottom to top and from the center outward, following the opposite direction of the wrinkles. Massaging the skin with the right technique helps the product and its active ingredients penetrate more effectively, thereby maximizing its effectiveness.
